2/10/09: San Francisco/Los Angeles CA Nate and I are currently at “Hotel Diva” in downtown San Francisco while the rest of the band are in LA. Yes. It is “divalicious” as my good friend Nathan would say. Today we woke up to a phone call telling us to get downstairs (no alarm) and we rushed downstairs to find our ride waiting for us. We went with some good IDJ (our label) people to a bunch of radio stations around town and got to hang with some really cool folks who get to be DJ’s and work at radio stations, a job I always wanted to do when I was a kid and would stay up listening to Murph on KWOD 106.5 and Steve in the PM on 100.5 the zone in Sacramento. It was a lot of fun to hang out in the stations and see them in action. A childhood dream come true.  But now we’re just hanging out. We fly to Seattle tomorrow morning at 7am, which means a 5am wake up call. Brutal. Johnny, kit and Alex are hanging out in LA surfing, watching car chases on TV and other things.We’ll all meet up soon and be one big old happy family again. in the meantime, here is a picture of Johnny at the Grammy awards. booya!
