2/3/08: Troy, NY
After a relaxing weekend watching the super bowl with friends (Johnny, kit and Alex with our friend Josh, myself and nate with jamie sampson, chris sampson’s brother, and das lucas with our friends jodi and moe,) we had all woke up and made our way back to the van.
everyone went to sleep and kit and i drove us through the lovely mountains of upstate new york as we listened to nick drake. we eventually got to troy, we all took showers at the venue since none of us decided we needed one during our stay in NYC and played a show to a small, but very responsive crowd. watched jon’s set and youtubed videos of people going over niagara falls in barrels and made our way to chris sampson’s parents house (this is after staying with chris sampson on satruday night, and jamie sampson on sunday). this weekend is the weekend of sampson. now we sleep and are debating whether to go tubing or not. i think we will for lack of anything better to do.
