1/31/09: New York, NY
Woke up early (10am) and drove to New York CIty (yes i, will, did). got to the venue early, so we tried to go to H and M but couldn’t find it. after an EPIC quest and a ton of google map diversions, we finally made it and bought nothing. loaded in, soundchecked and hung out with the brothers sampson at the venue, which by the way was AWSOME. great room.
played our set to a lot of good new yorkers and some friends from the label, then hung out and watched jon’s set, which was so rudely interrupted by not one but FOUR fire alarms. packed up, went our separate ways, and hung out the rest of the night with our friends in the city.
