1/27/09: Carboro, NC
Woke up early to some nasty sleet and my laundry being ready. Went to pick up the van (which had been in the shop to fix our non-existent breaks) and proceded to wait for 30 minutes while they went to get it. I heard a huge commotion in the back of the shop and realized that our van had slid down the entire driveway. Did not hit anything, so i went on my way.
Found our trailer frozen solid and attached it, picked up our stuff at the rehearsal spot and went on our way. Nate took us a good distance (the entire way) and we made it. Loaded in and sound checked, then went to eat a sweet resturant that we were told would give us a discount. No discount, but the food was good.
Played our show to a great crowd. Much love felt and hopefully returned on our part to them. Good times had and many new friends made, we packed up and headed home to sleep before DC tomorrow.
